Whatever you call it, charities are of vital importance here.

In an effort to lift others, spread awareness, provide the means, and support the causes of our fellow humans, I pledge to donate a portion of every sale to an organization that is improving people's lives.

If you would like to donate to one of our past charities, see the links below.

  • Nov. 2024: Native American Rights Fund

Nov. 2024: Native American Rights Fund

The Native American Rights Fund came across my screen when I read about National Native American Heritage Month, which began in 1990. The organization's focus is to provide funds for litigation between native communities and the government, with the aim to uphold current laws and treaties. I think everyone would like for their protections and promises to be honored.

  • Oct 2024: National Breast Cancer Foundation

Oct 2024: National Breast Cancer Foundation

Most of us have a connection to those who have been affected by cancer, if not have had it ourselves. As October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, I thought it'd be important to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation and reach people through education, prevention, and treatment. Finally: Fuck Cancer.

  • Sept. 2024: Today I Matter

September is National Recovery Month, and I feel that the first steps in recovery can be finding support. Stigmatization of addictions is a tough hurdle to get past, and Today I Matter aims to, "reduce the stigma and shame of mental illness and addiction, and to promote the physical, emotional, and mental health of our community" through positive change via physical, mental, and emotional health.

  • Aug. 2024: End Hunger Connecticut!

End Hunger Connecticut! is laser-focused on food insecurity in Connecticut, whether that be through assisting those with SNAP benefits or children whose food primarily come from school and are in need summer meals. August is Back to School Month, and End Hunger Connecticut! aims to support school breakfast programs and affordable, nutritious lunches.

  • July 2024: Inclusive Therapists

For Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, I want to support an organization whose scope is WIDE! Everyone has their own story and deserves to be heard in a place where they can find like-minded and similarly-lived individuals.

  • June 2024: ACLU

June 2024: American Civil Liberties Union

June got me thinking about Pride and Juneteenth. I want home to be “where seldom is heard a discouraging word,” but freedom isn’t free, so we’re out here supporting the rights of everyone, regardless of race, sexual orientation/identity, or religion.

  • May 2024: Protectors of Animals

May is National Pet Month! This local non-profit shelter is run by a small team of volunteers, and has homed over 700 cats and 150 dogs last year! They also offer low-cost spay and neuter options to help curb stray populations in Connecticut.

  • Apr. 2024: Clean Air Task Force

April is all about the Earth - it does house Earth Day, after all. The Clean Air Task Force advocates for energy access for those without while working with lobbyists and lawmakers to reduce carbon emissions.

  • Mar. 2024: Malala Fund

In honor of Women’s Month, I’d like to promote Malala Fund. Education is the foundation of the betterment of women and girls’ lives. Support affords them their rightful places and platforms as equal participants in society.

  • Feb. 2024: Connecticut Foodshare

I wanted to kick off with a local cause: Connecticut Foodshare volunteers team up with hundreds of food pantries, distributors, and donors to help provide nutritious meals (nearly 39 MILLION last year!) to families and individuals in need living in Connecticut communities.
